In 2018, the Terras Gauda Group culminated its expansion strategy with the acquisition of a winery belonging to the Qualified Designation of Origin (D.O.Ca) Rioja, in Alfaro (Eastern La Rioja). It has given it a new brand name and image, Heraclio Alfaro, who gives its name to the winery and its first wine, a crianza. The main varieties of native grapes are grown on its 110 hectares of land, including Tempranillo, Graciano and Garnacha.
